4Frontiers’ success depends on our people, and that includes employees, contractors, and customers.  These are the people who create the fundamental value of the company, achieve its goals, and ultimately establish worth in our business ventures.

The following values are the foundation of 4Frontiers’ culture.  They are in no particular order:

Customers are valuable.  Strong customer ties are basic to our corporate culture.  4Frontiers’ employees continuously build customer relationships through respect, timely results, innovation, and responsiveness. We focus on customer needs, strive for satisfaction, and build relationships by role modeling 4Frontiers’ values. 

Results matter.  4Frontiers is a meritocracy.  Timely delivery on promises and objectives is considered a requirement and performance is routinely evaluated.  

Quality matters.  We strive to provide products and services that are the best in our class and continuously improve quality. 

Innovation and enterprise are parts of our identity.  Our business is focused on rapid growth through innovation and enterprise.  New methods, inventions, and ideas are part of both our technical world and workplace.  We place a special emphasis on employees carrying an idea through to completion by becoming its champion. Enterprising 4Frontiers’ employees are a prime resource for identifying new customers and for spreading the message about our products.  The company has profit sharing plans including employee stock grants and incentives for those who write patents. 

Safety and environmental responsibility are values, not priorities.  4Frontiers is committed to achieving high standards of environmental responsibility and safety. This includes providing a safe and healthful workplace for our employees, contractors and the communities we serve. We seek a workplace free from occupational injury and illness. We emphasize individual responsibility for safety by all employees including all levels of management.  We expect employees to report potential safety hazards, and be involved in implementing solutions. We strive to establish appropriate safeguards for our operations and products.

We strive to conserve natural resources and reduce the environmental burden of waste generation and emissions to the environments in which we operate. We strive to be leaders in reducing, reusing and recycling, and we expect our employees to implement measures to properly dispose of any wastes in a safe and environmentally sound manner.

Discipline is key.  We expect and will assist employees on planning and setting clear achievable objectives.  This includes tracking and reporting on progress and results.  Document and change management is a necessary and essential part of our work. 

Teamwork is fun.  The 4Frontiers workplace is informal and plain speaking.  We encourage employees to help each other, solicit input in an atmosphere of open and honest communication, and help make the time we spend together enjoyable.  We strive to make trust, respect, and dignity a part of all our business relationships.    

The dream is important.  Employment at 4Frontiers is unlike work at other businesses.  4Frontiers was established, in part, to realize the dream of a thriving and expanding human presence in outer space.  This ideology serves as a motivating factor for our activities and efforts.  We encourage our employees to pursue their dreams and seek to provide an environment conducive to pursuit of our common vision.
